Daniel is a graduated Economist, with specific studies on Energy Economics. During university, Daniel began his work career as a Researcher in Economics & Innovation supporting well-known reports from WEF and IMF in Dom Cabral Foundation. After university, Daniel joined General Electric where he held several Finance, Consulting and Project Management roles in Americas, Europe, and Africa, across various sectors (Renewable Energy, Healthcare, Financial Services and Tech), the last being Finance Director of a Joint-Venture in the Energy sector. Recently, Daniel joined Ellen MacArthur Foundation as Latin American Cities Activation Manager with the purpose of supporting city governments to implement circular economy strategies with innovative and ambitious policy making. In his spare time, he loves to enjoy life with his wife. They are truly connected by nature and sports, as they both love to hike, kitesurf, climb, rowing - and the list keeps growing!
